The Swiss custom motorcycle builder VTR Customs has left everyone amazed with their latest customization: the Spitfire motorcycle.
Inspired by the iconic World War II aircraft of the same name, the Spitfire is based on a 2017 BMW R 1200 R and, as the name suggests, literally spits fire.
In a recent post, you can see the hundreds of hours of work that the VTR Customs team put into building this beauty.
One notable aspect is that they sourced authentic instruments and switches from the World War II Spitfire cockpit to incorporate into the motorcycle.
It’s clear that the goal wasn’t just to create a showpiece, but a complete build that captures the essence of the original Spitfire.
So, it’s no surprise that, according to VTR, this is the most complicated project they’ve ever done.
After all, creating a hand-crafted aluminum body is already a challenge, but making sure everything fits perfectly was a whole different story.
